Built for FSX, it includes versions tailored for the default terrain plus Ultimate Terrain Europe X and Dan-VFR, ideal for charter, sightseeing, and island supply flights.

Samso Airport VFR Photo Scenery (EKSS). The isle of Samso (Samsoe) is situated not far from Arhus, Denmark's second largest city. The history of Samsoe is very interesting. In ancient times the beautiful Stavns Fjord in the vicinity of the airport harbored one of the largest fleet of the Vikings, and traces of the great community still remain. The airport may be small, but as on all other isles, it is large in importance, and it will be hard to find a more beautiful located. For many years a daily route was operated from EKKL-Kalundborg where the plane brought in the post and newspapers. Today most traffic is charter flights to Copenhagen, Arhus and Odense, round trips with tourists, and cargo flights with supplies of important spare parts for the different facilities and activities on the isle. This is EKSS-Samsoe VFR Photo-scenery for FSX; Default, Ultimate Terrain Europe X and Dan-VFR edition, all in one.

READ CAREFULLY the AIRPORT DOCUMENTATION ENCLOSED, IT WILL IMPROVE YOUR PLEASURE FLYING TO EKSS !!

Installation:

Step 1:
Download and Unzip EKSSX.ZIP to a temp folder.

In the unzipped file you find two editions of EKSSX (Addon Scenery).

EKSS for Default & Ultimate Terrain Europa X.

EKSS for DAN-VFR Danish Photo-scenery.

Step 2:
Chewse the edition you want to install (EKSS for Default & Ultimate Terrain Europa X or EKSS for DAN-VFR Danish Photo-scenery) Move (Drag & Drop) the Addon Scenery folder containing the version you want to install to the main FSX folder and say yes when asked to overwrite.

The file structure is; Microsoft flightsimulator X >Addon Scenery> EKSS-Samsoe.

Step 3:
Go to > Settings> Scenery Library ,and add EKSS-Samsoe. Your done, Enjoy.

This scenery is released as Freeware.

All files comes as they are. Use them at your own risk. The author is not liable for any problems caused by these files, and will not grant any support.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.

Launch FSX or Prepar3D and use Flights → Load to open the downloaded .pln file. Your aircraft will be positioned at this location.

    ... then... have to continue The fence gates to the "apron" well - just a gate in the fence .. but its painted white and there are two of them. With the text: Gate 1 & Gate "

    On terminal 1 a note: Landing fee 95 kr and accomodation pr night 45 kr

    Wonderfull THIS IS CIVILISATION!

    This is amazing scenery, but it needs an update :-D You see the airport staff has painted the hangar red with white doors. And then - well I tell you this airfield could the the target of aviation pilgrimage. Because on The Hangar it Written: Terminal 2 - Samsøe Intl. And on the red building Terminal 1.
