FSX Gen. Scott's Curtiss P40 Tiger

Brig. Gen. Scott’s Curtiss P-40 “Tiger” recreates a Flying Tigers warbird with historically faithful markings and WWII context drawn from his service with the American Volunteer Group in China. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it includes the complete aircraft plus detailed textures and accompanying historical imagery for an authentic hangar highlight.

Gen. Scott's Curtiss P40 Tiger. A repaint of Robert Hawk's P-40. This is an accurate repaint of Brig. Gen. Scott's aircraft. He flew with the famed AVC Flying Tigers as a fighter pilot working with the American Volunteer Group in China during WWII under General Claire Lee Chennault. Scott shot down 22 Japanese aircraft. Included is some historical pictures and history. This is a complete aircraft. Textures by Mark Rooks (RSDG).

To Install this aircraft file.

Unzip downloaded folders to the dest top remove Old Exterminator folder and install in the main aircraft folder.

Aircraft folders are found in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FSx\SIM Objects /Aircraft.

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
