There is a new virtual airline on the web – Virgin American Virtual. The virtual airline is modeled on Virtual America, a US airline founded by British entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson that provides low fares between main cities on the Eastern and West Coast seaboards.
In its official opening announcement, the virtual airline said it offers flexibility to flight simulation fans, allowing them to make their own choices in the times they fly.
The company also stated that it offers “a balance between fun, educational, and entertaining gameplay”. Virgin American Virtual offers a wide range of routes to fly, and includes aircraft choices for Virgin America, Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Australia. It also offers a dozen code share flights.
If you are new to flight simulation, the virtual airline offers you a free training course. If you want to learn how to fly jets, or want to advance your VATSIM experience, there are suitable programs for you.
When you sign up as a member at Virgin American Virtual, you will receive a Welcome Pack via email that will take you through how to get started.
