FSX Zlin Z-142 v1

The Zlin Z-142 brings a nimble Czech aerobatic trainer to FSX with a fully working virtual cockpit, authentic gauges, and tuned flight dynamics. Clear panel layout, dedicated engine and cockpit sounds, and a clean thumbnail make it easy to drop into a hangar for practice circuits, touring, or basic aerobatics.

FS2004 Installation
-------------------

Unzip downloaded archive somewhere on disk and than move folder "Zlin_Z-142_30" into "Aircraft" directory in your Flight Simulator 2004 folder. Don't forget to unzip them with its subfolders.

In Zlin_Z-142_30 directory you can find subdirectory "addons", where are placed files and documentation with which you can improve/modify basic installation. For example there is gauge with added real sounds - we recommend to install it.

Notes.

Aircraft works fine in FSX. All gauges in VC seem OK.

No mods. Full credit to the great talents of the creators of this wonderful aircraft.

FSX Tested OK. Thumbnail added.

I found this great bird in my FS2004 collection & as it works fine in my FSX SP2 I have prepared thumbnails to make it easier for FSX users.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
