50cm Generic Project Textures Rocks Scenery.

Set of generic textures replacement for FSX.

Before installation made a backup of the textures of FSX/scenery/world/texture.

I cannot be considered person in charge as the errors which you committed and backup that you did not make.

Installation:

Copy the folder "scenery" into the main FSX folder.

Overwrite any existing files, yes.

Don't forget to set the texture slide of FSX to 60cm.

Uninstall:

Copy the textures which you had backup previously into the "FSX/scenery/world/texture" folder.

Nota: You can use the summer 30cm texture with this pack but you must to install them after this 50cm pack.(See 30cm project textures).

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    I found this file a true improvement for FSX. Actually I was fed up with FSX blurring out the rocks textures so those didn't look like rocks at all. With these 'Generic Project Textures Rocks', which are higher res than the original textures, rocks really look better now!
