Editorial

Having always had a lot of time for the Airbus range, I decided to pick this mod up and see what it was made of. It seemed quite interesting in that it added a new version of the old A300B4-200, an aircraft that I know quite well. This mod seemingly adds a whole load of new changes and fresh alterations to make this feel more at home than before.

Not only does this improve your overall control and command of the Airbus systems, but it should help you appreciate just how detailed one can be on the inside of the cockpit!

The Design

The first thing I always look for is the design as you can tell more or less instantly how good the layout and style is. Well, this mod is ripping with textures with all sorts of new and exclusive add-ons to make it look the best that it can. Mane of the features are unique to this particular model, giving you a range of exclusive changes that can really make this feel much closer to the real thing.

From the new dynamic shine on the textures to make it look reflective like the real thing to full animations, opening passenger and cargo doors and even spot on, accurate lighting. All of this when combines together makes a truly engaging process which you can very easily grow to love.

I was immediately blown away by the impressive nature of the design, as it really helped to sell the overall image and format of the original.

The Detail

Of course, like any good flight sim mod, this makes the most of the various features that are needed to make an aircraft feel authentic. This has many of the right flight dynamics put in place so that the aircraft flies in line with its’ real-life self. This will make a huge difference to your overall enjoyment of the flights that you undertake whilst also helping you fully appreciate the level of precision needed to handle an Airbus.

From the way that it handles at speed to the ease of which you can take off, this really does reflect the same challenges and successes of the real thing. Very much worth your time picking up if you like an aircraft that is intensely realistic and offers a proper challenge for anyone trying to capture the realism of the skies for themselves moving forward.
