FSX Stewart International Airport Scenery

Stewart International Airport (KSWF) for FSX refreshes the stock Newburgh, New York field with a detailed terminal and jetways, accurate airline parking, expanded military cargo and combat ramps, and enhanced GA areas. Updated taxiways and aprons, fire station assets, static vehicles and helicopters, plus improved lots and lighting keep the layout lively and believable.

Stewart International Airport Scenery.

Stewart International Airport is a civil airport, served by five airlines. It also is home to the New York Air National Guard, Army National Guard, and Marine Reserves. The runway at Stewart could land the space shuttle in an emergency.

Here is an improved version of the stock Stewart International Airport. I added a terminal building with jetways, and proper airline assignments. I added Military_Combat and Military_Cargo parking spaces. I added the fire station and fire trucks. Added GA parking, static helicopters, fuel trucks, parking lots with cars and light poles. Added, removed, or adjusted taxiways and aprons.

I use Just Flight's Military Plus Packs and they work fine with this airport. I also use Ultimate Terrain and FSGenesis landclass but they are not required. All objects are stock FSX so no additional object libraries are needed. Updates made using AirNav diagrams and Google Earth to be as accurate as possible. All work done with Flight 1's AFX program and Instant Scenery.

I will be doing other military bases as time permits.

INSTALLATION:

Extract the two files AFX_KSWF_JC.bgl and KSWF_JC.bgl into your Addon Scenery/Scenery folder, re-start FSX and enjoy.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Finding the scenery

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
