One of my favorite planes is the Boeing 727. So when I saw a picture of this Braniff's plane, I decided to repaint a 727 in this livery. This was my second repaint. The model made for Kevin Trinkle is very good for FS2002 but with problems in FS2004. So, one year later, I selected the FS2004 model of Mike Stone (a good one too), and started to upgrade all my 727 repaints from FS2002 to FS2004.

The plane is one of about 70 Boeing 727s of various marks bought by Branif over the period 1965-73. Braniff had a picture scheme where each plane had a different color in tail and body. In fact, the Braniff's N7286 had the same green tone, but the 1 and 3 engines were natural metal, and ALL then bottom was clear green. Sistership of N7280, N7281 arrived in April, 1967. She was sold in May, 1980. Now it flies with First Air. This is the oldest passenger jetliner flying the Canadian skies!

description=40 years old and still flying, the venerable 727 far surpassed Boeing's most optimistic sales forecasts. 1831 were built, with many still in service today. Noisy and inefficient by today's standards, it set new standards for comfort and reliability in its day.\nThis is one of about 70 Boeing 727 of various marks bought by Braniff over the period 1965-73.\nModel by Mike Stone, Repaint by Alejandro Hurtado
