FS2004 Pan American Ford Trimotor

Pan American livery textures bring the classic Ford Trimotor “Tin Goose” to life with period-correct markings and a clean, vintage airline finish for authentic 1920s–1930s route flying. Designed for FS2004, this repaint refreshes the exterior look while preserving the familiar default model and virtual cockpit, and requires the stock Ford Trimotor.

A repaint of the default Ford Trimotor in Pan American livery. Textures only. By Ed Knapp.

It is hard to accurately paint this plane. Many of the textures are mirrored. The "Pan American Airways System" logo should be under the windows, but that is impossible. This is a very simple repaint, but the original was not very fancy. I had only one research photo to work from so I did the best I could.

description="Nicknamed the "Tin Goose," the Ford 4-AT Tri-Motor pioneered early airline and air transport routes. In 1925, the Ford Motor Company bought the Stout Metal Plane Company to gain rights to the Tri-Motor design. In all, 198 Ford Tri-Motors were built. During its years of regular service in the late 1920s and early 1930s, the Ford Tri-Motor helped popularize commercial flight and promote the safety of flying to travelers."

Replace the 'x' where you see [fltsim.x] with the number this aircraft represents. If it is your third aircraft it would be [fltsim.3].
