FS2004 Douglas DC-6 Freighter (Ragged)

Douglas DC-6B freighter repaint delivers a convincingly weathered, hard-working look with layered primer touch-ups and a storied past that hints at multiple operators after its United roots. Built for FS2004, it requires the Tom Gibson and Greg Pepper DC-6B base model and includes the modified textures for the worn livery.

This is a fictitious repaint of the DC-6B. This aircraft has had a hard life as depicted by the constant re-spray of primers, etc. However, this airplane is also a performer and is not bogged down by maintenance problems. You will notice that it was originally used by United, but has been modified for use as a freighter and has been passed around to different companies over the years. Treat her well and she will do anything you ask. The original aircraft by Tom Gibson and Greg Pepper is required. By Chris Coarse.

Installation:

I have only enclosed the files that I have changed. You will need to copy the basic textures for the DC-6B into the Texture.Worn folder. (Or whatever you decide to call it.) Be sure to answer "NO" if prompted to Overwrite the existing files. Do not forget to add the proper entries into the aircraft.cfg file.

Credits:

Many thanks go out to Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson for making this airplane. Also a nod goes to Garry J. Smith for his tutorial on repainting.
