The suite also adds Modeldef_Edit for modeldef.xml animation dictionaries and updated plugins with bug fixes and expanded parameters.

This application allows users of FSDS 3.5.1 to add various tweaks to their models, such as bump mapping, VC dynamic shadows, environment mapping, cameras (external and VC), automatically computed accurate gear compression, fuel tank placement, and more.

This new version adds many bug fixes, bloom and misc. parameters to materials, setting of diffuse and specular material color, a more powerful fsdsxtweak_plugin with custom build scripts, and Modeldef_Edit a new tool for editing the modeldef.xml animation dictionaries - essential if you are looking to add custom parts such as 3D gauge parts. The manual has been updated with new tutorials. Please read fsdsxtweak.pdf for full details. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
