FSX Acceleration Douglas DC-2

Douglas DC-2 brings a classic 1934 twin-radial airliner to FSX Acceleration, recreating the 14-seat pioneer that bridged the DC-1 and the legendary DC-3. Expect era-appropriate performance, a functional virtual cockpit, and authentic proportions, with Wright Cyclone power modeled for smooth, vintage-style airline and utility flying.

The Douglas DC2 was a 14-seat, twin-propeller airliner produced by the Douglas Aircraft Corporation starting in 1934. In 1935 Douglas produced a larger version called the DC-3, which became one of the most successful airplanes in history. Developed from Douglas DC-1 and "pather" of the Douglas DC-3. Number built 156, first flight May 11, 1934. Powered by many engines, from only two 690 hp (515 kW) Wright radial engines (DC-1) to two Wright R-1820-53 radial piston engines, of 1200 hp (895 kW) each (C-41A). By J.F. Tomas.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

As far as I can remember, I made this DC-2 many years ago. Now I’m happy to meet it. Thank you, and enjoy it!
