Lockheed-Martin F-35B and C paints of the VX-23 Salty Dogs. The F-35B and F-35C versions depicted made successful VTOL and conventional carrier takeoffs and landings in 2014 as part of DTE 1 and 2 by the USMC and USN. These repaints depict the aircraft flown by VX-23 in support of DTE-1 and 2 for the Dino Cattaneo F-35 Lightning II (F35V230.ZIP). By Tom Wilson.

Installation:

Place the Sim Objects/Airplanes folder inside of your main FSX/FS2004 directory
Copy/paste appropriate F-35B and F-35C aircraft.cfg entries found in the .zip file.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D Repaint

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Add livery to base aircraft folder

Place the texture folder (typically texture.{airline}) inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{base-aircraft}\.
Update aircraft.cfg

Open the base aircraft.cfg in Notepad. Add a new [fltsim.X] section per the readme.
