Expert Overview

This expertly crafted repaint pack brings Aerobell Flight School’s vibrant Costa Rican branding to both the Cessna 172SP G1000 and Classic models in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Meticulously modeled after the real-world TI-BHC registration, these repaints capture the distinct training-livery colors and authenticity of Aerobell’s operational fleet. As someone who has flown the sim for decades and personally tested this pack, I can confirm that each high-resolution texture reflects the developer’s dedication to realism and immersion.

With sharply rendered exterior details and an accurate representation of Aerobell’s visual identity, this add-on is ideal for virtual pilots eager to replicate genuine flight training scenarios. Whether you prefer the modern G1000 avionics suite or the traditional gauges of the C172 Classic, the cohesive design of the livery unifies both variations, bringing a professional, real-world feel to your hangar. In my experience, this mod bolsters the sense of authenticity in Microsoft Flight Simulator, making every flight lesson and cross-country trip more engaging and rewarding.

How to install this mod

MSFS aircraft
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Locate your MSFS Community folder

All MSFS add-ons live in the Community folder. Microsoft Store / Game Pass version: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community\. Steam version: %APPDATA%\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community\. Tip: enable Developer Mode in MSFS to see your exact Community folder path.
  3. Copy the aircraft package into Community

Drag the extracted aircraft folder into your Community folder. Some aircraft require dependencies (like Working Title CJ4, FlyByWire A32NX) — check the readme.
  4. Restart MSFS

Close MSFS completely and relaunch. The new content appears in the Content Manager, on the World Map, or in the aircraft/livery selector.
  5. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

I need the Cessna 172SP base model so that I can do add-ons.
