Sikorsky S-38 NC-144M in classic Pan American Airways markings brings 1930s Caribbean amphibian flying to FS2004, with reflective textures, animated landing gear and cabin or cargo hatches, plus optional engine cowlings. A working virtual cockpit, landing lights, extra radio gear, XML gauges, NDB destination notes, and period route maps round out the package.

A vintage route map displays scheduled and overnight stops across the Americas with a large illustration of a 44-passenger flying boat.

A colorful map shows Pan American Airways routes connecting the United States to Latin America, with red lines, aircraft illustrations, and route statistics.

FS2004 Sikorsky S-38 Pan American Airways. Twin-engined amphibian. Reg #NC-144M was one of 38 S-38s operated by Pan American or its subsidiaries. S-38s flew the Caribbean routes from Miami to Cuba, Haiti, Santo Domingo, Puerto Rico, and Central America. FS2004 model with reflective textures, animated gear and cabin/cargo hatches. Optional engine cowlings with F8 key. Landing lights and extra radio gear included. Magneto/starters work in VC. Panel includes XML gauges adapted from Vega and DC-3 defaults. Includes list of some Caribbean destinations, with NDB frequencies. Includes 1930-31 Pan Am route maps from Bjorn Larsson's collection. By George Diemer.
