San Francisco International Airport (KSFO), California (CA), update for default scenery. Places runways and taxiways in their correct positions. Shoulders along the runways and taxiways have been added and surfaces changed to present an appearance that looks a little more realistic. Default scenery for terminals and buildings are reused, parking and jetways have been adjusted to match current assignments. All ILS holds are placed as they are. By Dan Downs.
All ILS holds are placed as they are, but I added hidden runway hold lines to work with AI traffic.
Localizer, glideslope, DME and PAPI coordinates are asbuilt.
INSTALLATION: Put the two ".bgl" files (ksfo_asbuilt_v1.bgl and ksfo_asbuilt_photo_v1.bgl) in the FSX addon scenery folder (...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery\scenery).
A current copy of the FAA Airport Diagram is provided for reference.
The West ramp areas, in an around the United hangers, has not been modified from the default (I started to run out of useable nodes in the software).
Airport Facilitator X (AFX) ver 1.04 was used to create this file, references include FAA, Airnav, Google Earth and airport website. This file may be modified by others to update scenery or optimize for AI Traffic but I ask that you cite me as a source and such use is limited to freeware only. The use of this information for any commercial used is not authorized.
SBuilderX by Luis Sa & PTSim and the resample utility in the FSX SDK were used to generate the photo scenery, which I have blended into the surrounding default scenery and provided season and night variations. The original photo data is from Google Earth.
Note: This scenery has not been tested with traffic add-ons. Airline gate assignments have been added per observed traffic in Google Earth and all ramp and runway guides are placed to support traffic.
