Portland Internatioal Airport Scenery.
This is an improved version of the stock KPDX (Portland International Airport) located in Portland, Oregon, USA. Many changes and additions have been made to include (1) a new terminal building which has been placed so automobile traffic does run through it, (2) other buildings have been moved to avoid the traffic and to be more accurately placed, (3) numerous gates have been added and all have been given general or specific airline assignments including Fedex and UPS, (4) the control tower has been moved to the correct location, (5) a parking lot has been added plus (5) numerous other changes and additions.
Airport Design Editor (ADE), version 1.37.05 was used for this entire project. Thanks to Jon (Scruffyduck) for a great product. The project has been tested with World of AI, FSGenesis terrain mesh and land class, Ultimate Terrain X (UTX) and Ground Environment X (GTX).
Several complexity settings have been made in FSX. Go to Options>Settings>Display...>Settings-Display>Scenery>Scenery objects>scenery complexity.
Very Sparse – terminal building, control tower and parking garage
Dense – remaining buildings and half of the jetways
Very Dense – remaining jetways and some static objects (planes, cars and landscape)
Extremely Dense – remaining static objects
INSTALLATION
Extract and place the two bgl files (KPDX_ADE_DKR.BGL and KPDX_ADE_DKR_CVX.bgl) into the Addon Scenery>Scenery folder and restart FSX.
