FSX Portland International Jetport Scenery

Portland International Jetport (KPWM) scenery for FSX enhances approaches into Portland, Maine with extra airport-area buildings plus nearby ships, aircraft, and coastal landmarks. Runway 29 arrivals gain a livelier waterfront feel thanks to placed lighthouses and harbor traffic that adds visual context without changing core airport layout.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Portland International Jetport (KPWM), Portland, Maine (ME). Adds some buildings, ships and aircraft near the airport. By Curtis Weeman.

Tried to add some aircraft and buildings around the Portland Jetport to give it some life. There are some buildings and ships to see on the approach to Runway 29. added some lighthouses and ships for a working water front.

I have FSX and Acceleration installed, I do not think any of the Acceleration files were added. ( A note just in case )

INSTALLATION:

Extract or copy the file kpwm.bgl and kpwm.text into your Addon Scenery/Scenery folder.

I like to copy the text files incase there is a need to read them at a later time.

Re-start FSX and enjoy.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
