Boeing CH47 Chinook is a twin-engine, tandem rotor helicopter designed and produced in the 1960s. More than a dozen nations have purchased the CH47 Chinook, and the Royal Air Force and the US Army are the largest users.

With a maximum speed of 196 mph (170 knots, 315 km/h), the CH47 Chinook is faster than its contemporaries from the 1960s era. The CH47 Chinook is one of the few aircrafts from this era that is still in production and is still serving on the front line. More than a thousand CH47 Chinook have been built. The aircraft is mainly used to transport troops and supplies to battlefields.

Now, with Sonic Solutions’ CH47 Chinook Sound Pack for FSX, you can enjoy this legendary aircraft. The sound pack includes all the sounds of this aircraft – from start up to shut down. Recorded from a real CH47 Chinook, this sound pack offers loud dynamic range and unparalleled clarity. All the sounds were recorded and mixed in 24 bit/48k resolution, and mastered down to specifications at 16 bit/48k
