FSX DeHavilland Dh89a Dragon Rapide

The de Havilland DH.89A Dragon Rapide brings classic twin-engine touring to FSX with bump and specular mapping, smooth 3D gauges, and an accurately modeled P8 compass in the virtual cockpit. Sixteen liveries, custom panel, effects, adjustable passengers, a removable yoke, and an optional pop-up GPS complete the package.

Installation:
Unzip to a temporary folder, then run the setup program.

This model is for FSX ONLY, and will not work in earlier versions of Flight Simulator.

Features:
Full FSX model with bump and specular mapping.
Fully modelled smooth 3D gauges.
Accurately modelled P8 compass.
Adjustable passengers. Set any or all of the payload station weights to zero to remove passengers.
Removable yoke. Click the round knob above the ASI (VC panel) to hide or show the yoke in the VC view.
Popup GPS. Click the switch to the left of the turn-and-slip gauge (VC panel) to replace the P8 compass with a GPS unit.

Important!
Do NOT alter the name in the title= section of the aircraft.cfg file.
The first letter tells the model which options to display. Please see the table at the end of this readme file for an explanation of which letter displays which option.
Any additional repaints will also need to have a code letter in the title section.
Repaints for the FS2004 version should work, but no gaurantee is given. Additional specular maps will also be needed.

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
