FSX Scenery--Midway Carrier Patch

Midway Carrier Patch updates Yanco San’s WWII Midway Carrier Battle scenery so the carrier action loads correctly in Microsoft Flight Simulator X while staying usable when the same scenery is shared with FS2004. It requires BC_CARR2.ZIP and refines compatibility so the naval battle environment displays as intended across both simulators.

FSX Midway Carrier Patch. A patch for Yanco San's WWII Midway Carrier Battle scenery (BC_CARR2.ZIP) to make it compatible with Flight Sim X. It will also work with FS2004 if you are accessing the scenery from both versions of Flight Sim. By Robert A. Baum.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
