FSX USAF KC10

USAF KC-10-inspired fictional livery transforms the default Boeing 747-400 into a military tanker-style look, with crisp markings and a cohesive paint scheme that fits both ramp shots and long-haul flights. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, this repaint requires the stock 747-400 and adds instant USAF flavor to the virtual cockpit experience.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    DC-707? Now that never existed.

As a matter of fact, this is not fictional, it existed. This was Boeing's prototype for the AF wide body tanker contract competing with the DC-10. At the time I was a KC-135A crew cheif at Grissom AFB and read about this particular model in A&AS in the 70s.
