This release offers a specialized blank white repaint for a freeware Rancho JEN Cessna 150 model in Microsoft Flight Simulator X. It includes two different texture resolutions, so you can pick the one that best complements your system and performance. These repaints were prepared by Tom Tiedman, incorporating the base aircraft built by J.E. Narcizo and updated for FSX by Mark Rooks.
Blank White Repaint Details
This add-on provides a blank fuselage texture set intended for anyone who wants to customize a Cessna 152 appearance in the simulator. The real-world Cessna 152, derived from the venerable Cessna 150, offers two-seat, single-engine efficiency and enjoys popularity in flight training environments. By applying this repaint, you can extend your repainting options or add a minimalist look to your existing collection of liveries.
Texture Variations
- DXT3 1024: Optimized for smoother performance and smaller file size. Recommended for users who want good visuals without a high load on system resources.
- 32-bit 2048: Delivers high-definition detail and a sharper external view. Ideal for virtual pilots with robust hardware or those seeking maximum texture clarity.
Each variant is free of mipmaps (often referred to as “no mips”), which helps produce crisp textures in close-up camera views.

Installation Procedure
- Place the “Blank (DXT3 1024)” folder and/or the “texture.Blank (32 bit 2048)” folder inside the aircraft’s main directory, where the Rancho JEN Cessna 150 is located.
- Open the airplane’s
aircraft.cfg
file, then locate and append the provided[fltsim.X]
entries. Adjust the “X” values sequentially so they match your existing livery count. - Save the
aircraft.cfg
changes and confirm that your new repaint is selectable within your simulator’s aircraft menu.
