This model is a complete rework of the original MB339A PAN (Pattuglia Acrobatica Nazionale) released some years ago with an improved visual model, and virtual cockpit. This new version of the model contains textures for a standard example of "Frecce Tricolori", the acrobatic military Italian team, with added ten different fuselage textures to choose from to make a personalized tail code example in the team. Visual model, textures and revised flight dynamics by Massimo Taccoli. Original panel and gauges by Paolo Zamparo. Sound files with permission of Aaron R. Swindle.

Installation:

Extract ALL the files in the zip to the main FSX folder. For example: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\

Do not extract to the airplanes folder or the simobjects folder. The zip file will automatically create new sub folders and populate them.

Note

  • Loading the aircraft for the first time on FSX you will get an 'unknown author' message for each of the (118) gauges. Please don't be disappointed or bored for the many clicks required, this happens for the first installation only and after that you will never be asked again. Click 'YES' if you like the gauges or 'NO' if you don't. If you say 'NO' you will not have the instruments displayed on the panel, except the default ones.
  • You will get a second message asking you to "trust" the related gauge; if you click "Yes" when asked, the gauge will be accepted.
