Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

The Aermacchi or Macchi MB-326 is a light military jet aircraft designed of Italian design. This package contains an entirely new visual model, with self shadowing, bump mapping and hi-res textures, multiple liveries, working virtual cockpit, 3D gauges, accurate flight model and support for Tacpack and VACMI. Fully compatible with Prepar3D v2.0. Textures by Alessandro Barbarini, flight model by Roy Holmes, sound package by Serge Luzin, additional coding and flight testing by Mario Motta. Designed by Dino Cattaneo.

Installation:

  • Should you have any previous version of my MB.326 model, first REMOVE the older files from the SimObjects/Aircraft folder.
  • Unzip the file (maintaining the proper folder structure) to your main Flight Simulator X folder.

Note:

  • This aircraft requires Flight Simulator X: Acceleration or Flight Simulator X:Gold for full functionality.
  • Fully compatible with Lockheed Martin Prepar3d v2.X. Should also work (but it is not tested) on Microsoft ESP and Lockheed Martin Prepar3d v1.X.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    Does this work with the latest version of MS Flight Sim? The all singing and dancing 40th Anniversary edition? Also, what about more current versions of Prepar3D? Thanks in advance for any help.
