Airbus House scheme (With and without SATCOM), Air Canada, Cathay Pacific and Scandinavian Airlines (SAS - with SATCOM) liveries. Designed to be a competitor to the Boeing 777-200, Airbus Industries has out done itself creating a beautiful and fuel efficient flying machine capable of delivering passengers in safety and comfort well into the 21st Century and possibly beyond. All textures have been modified in DXT-3 format for crisp visuals without comprimising frame rates. The panel has been aliased to the FS-X default Airbus A321 (due to no A330 panel available for FS-X to date). A magnificient A330 sound package by Steven Persson has been included for authenticity. Assembled & Presented by Brian C. Selb.

Editorial
Having decided to pick up this mod due to their association with Project OpenSky, I have to say I was left impressed as expected. This take on the Airbus A330-300 is one of the most impressive that I have seen. The House scheme that comes with this has both with and without SATCOM editions. Also, it uses various liveries from the Air Canada layout to the Cathay Pacific and even Scandinavian Airlines livery.
Precise Details
Designed as a long-term competitor to the Boeing 777-200 back in the day, this is a classic. It’s also well worth having this mod as it improves your range of aircraft to pick from, adding a brilliant piece of kit.
This aircraft is beautifully fuel efficient, offering an easy and effective way for you to get around the skies with the minimum of fuss. This design and detail was used to make sure this aircraft was delivering passengers into the 21st Century in true, genuine luxury. Although it might not quite be the high-end tech it was once revered as, this aircraft steps beyond the normal frontier to offer something different, something more engaging.
I immediately noticed how much work had gone into the development of the textures. With close detail in the textures themselves as well as accurate and smart placement, this goes some way to delivering a really exciting look and feel to the aircraft in question. I was immediately impressed by just how much attention to detail was being carried out by this model, to be honest.
Authentic Designs
The textures use a crisp DXT-3 format for a fresh visual look that isn’t too system heavy. This means that medium-quality machines can easily make the most of this aircraft, offering a fine solution otherwise. It’s fresh detail and exciting approach to realism makes flying fun without making it slow.
Indeed, it also makes use of an FSX default aliasing design on the panels. This means that they settle in perfectly into the background. It makes it easier for everyone to enjoy a much better and more engaging look and feel in the skies than before.
However, it’s not just about the feel – it’s the sound, also. The new sound pack that is being used here was produced by the excellent Steven Persson, and includes even more reality to the flight.
Overall, this can feel more enjoyable than ever to engage with and make use of. If you want to improve flying selection and style, I’d happily recommend this.
