This repaint delivers the vibrant Tiger Airways budget-carrier livery for the payware Phoenix Simulation Software Airbus A320 Professional series. Created by Roland Ting, it meticulously depicts the airline’s signature color scheme and logos, capturing the essence of Singapore’s low-cost flight operations. Designed specifically for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 (FS9), this package requires you to already own the payware PSS A320 model from Phoenix Simulation Software, which is not included here.
Distinctive Livery Attributes
The real-world Tiger Airways (a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines) has built a strong presence across Asia, flying from its base at Changi Airport. Known for low fares and streamlined operations, it relies on the Airbus A320 family for efficient short-haul routes. This repaint showcases the aircraft’s stripes, tail markings, and branding, all carefully tuned to match Tiger Airways’ actual fleet aesthetic.

Key Design Elements
- Accurate Color Palette: The livery replicates the signature orange and contrasting hues found on Tiger Airways jets.
- Airbus A320 Airframe: Reflects typical narrow-body engineering featuring fly-by-wire controls and advanced avionics for efficient flight management.
- IAE Engine Configuration: Built to represent the high-bypass turbofan engines used in many A320 series aircraft, mirroring the real operator setup.
- Seamless Integration: Tested within FS2004 to ensure optimal display with Phoenix Simulation Software’s add-on package.
Installation Guidelines
Before proceeding, confirm that you have the PSS Airbus A320 Professional payware in your FS9 installation folder. Then, follow these steps:
- Extract or unzip all texture files (including any subfolder structure) directly into your FS9 “aircraft” directory.
- Open “aircraft.cfg” in the “\aircraft\PSSA320” folder using a text editor such as Notepad.
- Append the text below directly after the final [fltsim] section. Ensure each line remains intact:

description=Designed to compete with the Boeing 737 and McDonnell Douglas MD-80, The A319/320/321 were Airbus' first entry in the narrow-body market. Although the aircraft borrows some features from the larger A300 and A310, it is essentially a new design equipped with many state-of-the-art engineering innovations. For example, The A319/320/321 were the first commercial jetliners with a full fly-by-wire control system. Other advanced features include widespread use of composite materials to reduce weight, sophisticated avionics including a gust-alleviation system allowing a smoother ride, advanced cockpit warning systems, and high-technology engines to reduce noise and fuel consumption. 2002 PHOENIX SIMULATION SOFTWARE. Tiger Airways is the subsidiary regional budget carrier of Singapore Airlines Ltd operating from Changi Airport.
- Change “[fltsim.X]” to the next sequential number following the preceding livery entries (e.g., if the last entry is [fltsim.3], then rename this one [fltsim.4]).
- Save and close the file. Once launched, the updated paint should be selectable from your aircraft menu in FS2004.
Credits and Notes
This repaint was prepared by Roland Ting and uses the PSS A320 Pro package by Phoenix Simulation Software. It is strictly a texture pack and does not include the payware model. For a functional experience, a separate purchase of the original A320 is needed.
