This repaint enriches the Carenado payware Cessna U206G Stationair float variant. It offers a new livery (N912FL) created by Sean Doran. It is freeware and includes detailed external textures that integrate seamlessly with the amphibious model.
Overview
The Cessna U206G Stationair is a robust, single-engine design known for its utility (short field performance) and adaptability. In water operations, the float-equipped airframe (often called an amphib model if configured with retractable landing gear) allows takeoffs and landings on both hard surfaces and waterways. Carenado’s payware edition provides custom flight modeling, realistic cockpit gauges, and subtle aerodynamic nuances that replicate real-world Stationair handling. Sean Doran’s repaint delivers a distinct color scheme for sim pilots seeking a custom look while preserving the aircraft’s recognizable shape and contours.

Installation Steps
- Unzip and place the included “texture.N912FL” folder into the main “Carenado Cessna 206 Float” directory. This is usually located at: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\Carenado Cessna 206 Float.
- Edit the aircraft.cfg file by inserting the snippet below. Replace “x” in [fltsim.x] with the next sequential number.
Configuration Edits
Copy any missing texture files from an existing texture folder within the same aircraft directory. Skip the three files included here, as they already bear the N912FL modifications. These changes ensure custom registration markings and exterior paint remain intact.

Important Notes
Sean Doran developed this repaint. It is freeware and intended solely for private, non-commercial enjoyment. The add-on enhances Carenado’s commercial Cessna 206 amphibian product by adding unique markings for added immersion. Transitioning from land runs to water operations is smooth and visually appealing with this set of textures.
