This freeware repaint features the Estelar Latinoamerica Boeing 737-200 ADV in two registrations, YV-2722 and YV497T, designed for the FAIB base model by Philippe Tabatchnik. Created with close attention to surface details, it recreates Estelar’s classic livery markings and offers seamless integration into AI traffic flightplans within your favorite flight simulator.
Unique Characteristics of the Boeing 737-200 ADV
The 737-200 ADV (short for “Advanced”) was a significant refinement of Boeing’s original twinjet. It boasts improved aerodynamics and upgraded engines compared to its predecessors. These enhancements enable better fuel efficiency and performance on shorter airstrips. Estelar Latinoamerica, a Venezuelan carrier, has been known for operating various narrow-body jets, and this specific repaint showcases their distinct airline logo and color scheme.

Installation Steps for the Repaint
- Locate the appropriate “texture.estelar xxx” folders in this package and drop them into the matching FAIB B737-200 base model folder designated in the fltsim.txt file. Remember that the base model (FAIB_B7372.ZIP) must be acquired separately from the Fly Away Simulation mod library.
- Open your aircraft.cfg file (found in the base model package) and copy the [fltsim.x] entries provided. Assign them sequentially, ensuring that your first repaint entry begins at [fltsim.0] and continues as [fltsim.1], [fltsim.2], etc., without skipping or duplicating numbers.
- Add the aircraft to any AI traffic or user flightplans in your simulator. With these steps, you will see Estelar Latinoamerica’s distinctive paint scheme in the virtual skies.
