Supermarine Scimitar brings the British Fleet Air Arm’s 1958–1969 carrier fighter to life with an updated package for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, featuring FSX-compatible gauges and a newly built basic virtual cockpit. The refreshed model captures the Scimitar’s distinctive naval jet profile and delivers a smooth, period-accurate flying experience.

The Supermarine Scimitar was a fighter aircraft in the British Fleet Air Arm from 1958 until 1969. The package features FSX compatible gauges and a new basic VC. Original model by Kazunori Ito, updated for FSX by Michael Pook.

Installation:

Copy the Scimitar folder into your FSX/ Simobjects/ aircraft directory.
Copy the gauges in the gauges folder into your main FSX gauges folder.
That's it, your done.

FSX / P3D add-on

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
