FSX Lockheed U2 Dragon Lady Updated

Lockheed U-2 Dragon Lady brings high-altitude reconnaissance flying to FSX with two selectable models, FSX-compatible gauges, and a refreshed basic virtual cockpit. Built around the iconic 1960s spy-plane mission profile, it captures the aircraft’s long-range, extreme-ceiling character for immersive surveillance-style sorties and photo runs.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

The Lockheed U-2 Dragon Lady was designed in the 1960s to photograph secret weapons and industries of the Eastern Block from extreme high altitudes. The package includes two different models and features FSX compatible gauges and a new basic VC. Original model by Kazunori Ito, updated for FSX by Michael Pook.

Installation:

  • Copy the U2 folder into your FSX/ Simobjects/ aircraft directory.
  • Copy the gauges in the gauges folder into your main FSX gauges folder.
  • That's it, your done.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
