Short 330-100 Olympic Airlines "Isle of Naxos" is a repaint under permission of PREMIER AIRCRAFT DESIGN Shorts SD3-30 Aircraft, panel and sound package including dynamic VC with custom gauges. The original package of PREMIER AIRCRAFT DESIGN include also a Cargo Version that not included here, cause didn't serve in Olympic Airways. Short 33-100 on runwayMODEL INFORMATION

Inside folder texture.IsleofNaxos you will find 2 subfolders. They don't have any function in the game except they contain 2 versions of the same file. One s330_interiors.bmp with 1024x1024 pixel file and one with 2048x2048 pixel. Depending on the power of your machine and graphics card you can choose what you want. By default I have placed the small file to work, so to keep your frame rates. If you want to probe the 2048 file (better internal view), you simply copy out of subfolder and replace the existing file into folder texture.IsleofNaxos. You can choose the small file again any time you want.

INSTALLING INSTRUCTIONS

The Olympic Short 330_100_Naxos.zip file contains 3 folders and 1 text file.

  • Folder Short 330-100 Olympic Airlines Isle of NaxosThe folder Short 330-100 Olympic Airlines Isle of
    Naxos have all subfolders and files to be ready for use by FSX. So copy paste the folder Short 330-100 Olympic Airlines Isle of Naxos into airplane folder.
    (--->FSX--->SimObjects--->Airplanes)
  • Folder Effects (contain 1 file)
    Move only the content of Effects folder (not all the folder) to the main FSX Effects folder (--->FSX--->Effects)
  • Folder GroundhandlingAddon (contain 2 subfolders and 1 txt file)
  • Folder Groundhandling5 contain sound files and sound ini file.
    Move all the Groundhandling5 folder (the folder as it is) to the main FSX sound folder. (--->FSX--->Sound)
  • Folder gauges contain 2 files.
    Move only the content of gauges folder (not all the folder) to the main FSX gauges folder. (--->FSX--->gauges)
  • Read the README Groundhandling5_01.txt you found into the GroundhandlingAddon folder, there are useful instruction about how to use Groundhandling

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    This is probably the best looking version of this plane on here. I highly recommend it everything works fine. I'm on the Steam Edition.
