Tumbler Ridge Airport (CBX7) brings British Columbia’s mountain town to life with frame-rate friendly eye-candy scenery and a clean, approachable layout for relaxed regional flights. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator X using SDK scenery tools, it adds a simple, immersive destination that works well as a starting point or quick hop.

Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia - Airport ID: CBX7 (FSX).

This is my version of Tumbler Ridge airport in beautiful BC. I created it for my personal enjoyment and now I am releasing to the public as freeware. I hope you enjoy the "eye-candy".

You may also go directly to this airport by selecting CBX7 as your starting airport.

Designed with the FS X Sdk Scenery function of the Mission builder & the Abacus Scenery shortcut tool.

This scenery is frame rate friendly.

Install: just extract the .bgl file into your Addon Scenery\scenery folder:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery\scenery.

FS X should recognize the new file and activate it for you.

Freeware - use at your own discretion. I'm not responsible for anything. If you don't like it, delete the .bgl file and you'll be good to go.

I don't mind you using this scenery but please contact me first before uploading to other sites. I am finding my stuff all over the place. I like to know where it is.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.
Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Finding the scenery

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
