Tampa International Airport (KTPA), Florida (FL). Includes two versions, one with the crosswind runway activated and one without. By Ray Smith.
These 2 BGL files were designed with the latest version of ADE (v1.37) and made only for the FSX default airport: one with the Crosswind rwy operating, now activated by ADE where all 3 rwy's will be used for takeoff/landing and one file as the default rwy operation: new airside buildings for C & E, new automated baggage sorting facility where airside B stood all made in a very basic way, airside D demolished and now a parking apron, assigned parking with extra parking, extra fuel trucks, control tower moved to the correct position, all taxiways and taxisigns bought up to date, lighted helipad, support vehicle roads rebuilt and many other improvements, airport views are from the roof of the control tower (when in tower view) IMPORTANT: for those that downloaded EDDB and KFLL need this for the readme: please view the readme before installation as this contains information about texture files for the extended jetways .
There are 2 BGL files: KTPA_ADE_RS.BGL and KTPA_ADE_CW_RS.BGL
The 'KTPA_ADE_CW_RS.BGL' version is with the Xwind rwy activated and in operation, the other version KTPA_ADE_RS.BGLis without. Parking is the same in both......
PLEASE NOTE: when using ATIS with the KTPA_ADE_CW_RS.BGL file you will hear the fake rwy's, this is the method used in activating Xwind rwy's created by Jim Vile and should be ignored or if prefered use the version KTPA_ADE_RS.BGL
To Install:
1. simply take the BGL file of your choice and place it into: Flight Simulator X/Addon Scenery/scenery folder.
2. there are jetway extensions, and to see these you need to add the textures for them, please follow these steps:
Go to the FSX\Scenery\NAME\Texture folder. Go down the list until you see jfk_jetway.dds (day texture) and jfk_jetway_LM.dds (night texture).
"COPY" them out of that folder and "PASTE" them into the Scenery\Global\Texture folder.
for those that have my files for EDDB and KFLL should also do the same as i forgot to add this to the readme.
3. Start up the Flight sim and the changes will be present.
IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE ONLY USE ONE BGL FILE AT A TIME:
ie: make sure there is only ONE 'KTPA.BGL' FILE in the Addon Scenery/scenery folder at any time, remove/delete any other KTPA.bgl to avoid incorrect parking.
To Uninstall:
1. Delete/remove the BGL file and the default will then be active.

Jim Vile for his Technique that activates crosswind runways.
And my ever enduring wife to put up with the hours spent making these files.
TIP: when at KTPA in tower view: go to your control settings and look for the "View track/pan Toggle" allocate a keyboard key stroke to it (i allocated a button on my X52 controller) this will unlock the user aircraft, then you can use the hat switch to pan 360 degrees around the airport, hitting the key stroke again (in my case a button) will return you to the user aircraft position.
Enjoy and happy flying.
