Turner Field (7PA5) brings a faithfully recreated, long-closed general aviation strip near Willow Grove to life, featuring the historic paved Runway 14/32 and turf Runway 7/25 within a densely developed Pennsylvania setting for FSX. Extra EZ-Scenery, Instant Scenery, or Rwy12 libraries can enhance object variety and detail.

Turner Field (7PA5), Prospectville, Pennsylvania. This small general aviation airport was located only three miles west of the Willow Grove Naval Air Station, PA. Turner Field was closed in the late 1980's. By John Hawranick, Jr.

Turner Field Scenery.

This small general aviation airport was located only 3 miles west of the Willow Grove Naval Air Station. Turner Field was apparently built at some point between 1945-47. The 1986 Flight Guide (according to Chris Kennedy) described Turner Field as having a 2,126' paved Runway 14/32 & a 2,200' turf Runway 7/25. The area around the little airfield had become densely developed, which most likely precipitated its closure.

Installation:
Install both BGL files into your Addon Scenery\Scenery directory. That's all. This file uses any and all EZ-scenery/Instant scenery/Rwy12 libraries. You won't need them, but having them will only make it better.

Issues:
The more libraries you have, the better this will look. There is a high tension tower near the grass strip. I can't make it go away. If you can, let me know.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Finding the scenery

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
