Editorial

These excellent panels manage to capture the look and feel of the inside of the Concorde perfectly, giving you excellent features such as a heads-up view, a visor, and an Engineer’s Panel. Whatever it is that you want to try and do with the Concorde you’ll find that this panel will give you all the features that you can realistically expect to use when you are flying an aircraft in FS2002.

This mod will try and capture all of those key design facets and requirements that will make it much easier for developers and pilots alike to see what they are using. For a simulator that is more than a decade old, this package perfectly captures the look and feel of the real cockpit that you would be coming up against if you were to be in the cockpit of the real Concorde.

This panel has been updated and edited several times to make sure it runs perfectly in FS2002, giving you the control that you need of the aircraft to get a nice glimpse of the depth and strength of the power that the Concorde brought to the table. Although it was relatively short lived compared to the technological changes and permanent changes the Concorde was supposed to make the market, it served as a vital part of the 90s and 00s as aviation started to alter dramatically as new technology started to become possible and apparent.

With this modification, then, you will be able to get an idea of what being in charge of the Concorde may have felt like. Whilst there is little chance of anyone ever being able to find out for themselves, this FS2002 cockpit will do all that is needed to give you the perfect taste of what this brings to the table. In terms of depth and detail, few aircraft can match this for glamor and style. If you are interested to see how the Concorde would feel in a more “retro” simulator then we recommend checking out this FS2002 package.

As far as panels go, this is highly functional – and very impressive!
