FSX Yeti Airlines Twin Otter

Yeti Airlines livery corrections for the Aerosoft De Havilland Twin Otter 300 bring the real-world markings back in line, with a properly mirrored port-side tail logo, accurate “Yeti Airlines” titles, and a cleaner Nepalese flag on both sides. Designed for FSX and requires Aerosoft’s Twin Otter 300.

Replacement textures for Aerosoft's DeHavilland Twin Otter 300 Yeti Airlines model. These fix several visual issues for the purists amongst us, namely the port side tail logo which was the wrong way round, the name "Yeti Airliners" which should actually read "Yeti Airlines" and a decent Nepalese flag as well. By John O'Leary.

As the name implies, these are some replacement textures for the Yeti Airlines model Twin Otter 300. When this fine aircraft was released, somebody fell asleep while doing the textures. The three amended files fix the problems found which were:

1. Port tail Yeti logo was the wrong way round.
2. "Yeti Airliners" should actually read "Yeti Airlines".
3. Nepalese flag was awful so redid that on both sides of the plane.

Installation:
This is a simple file replacement exercise. Locate the Yeti Airlines texture folder which should be here:

FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\Aerosoft Twin Otter 300 modern\texture.ya

Open up the folder I've supplied and copy and paste the three texture files I've provided and simply overwrite the originals. Your Yeti plane should then look as intended.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
