"FS2002/FS2004 Aerotec A-122B Uirapuru, PP-KBR, Acrobatic Version" is a freeware add-on for the popular computer program "Microsoft Flight Simulator" that gives players the chance to pilot an all-new aircraft: the A-122B Uirapuru, the civilian version of a Brazilian low-wing monoplane originally commissioned in the 1960s for its military air force.

The 3D model added into the game is exquisitely and accurately modeled after its real life counterpart, which comes with a colorful and illustrious history in its own part. The A-122 series of aircraft was a trainer aircraft designed to teach young new pilots in the Brazilian air force how to fly, and was constructed with a tricycle undercarriage to accommodate this purpose and allow both trainer and instructor to sit in the carriage side by side.

The Brazilian air force first ordered about 30 A-122s to replace the archaic and obsolete Fokker S.11s and S.12s. The Brazilians were so satisfied with the A-122 that they soon subsequently ordered 30, and then 40 more for their inventory. What more, several other national air forces also decided to add the A-122 to their stocks, numbering among them both the Bolivian and Paraguayan air forces, who ordered over 40 altogether.

The plane proudly served for nearly 30 years before being eventually replaced, however one A-122 is still in active service, and all in all 155 were manufactured. The add on is modeled after the civilian version, the A-122B, and is compatible with Flight Simulator 2002 and Flight Simulator 2004.
