Bella Coola Airport (CYBD) scenery recreates this British Columbia general aviation field with a faithful layout based on aerial imagery, including runway 05/23, taxiway, and key on-field facilities for convincing bush and regional operations. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it stays frame-rate friendly while enhancing approaches and circuit work in the rugged Central Coast.

Bella Coola, British Columbia - CYBD (FSX).

This is a loose rendition of the GA airport at Bella Coola in British Columbia, Canada.

I attempted to duplicate the actual facilities using a digital image of the actual airport.

I created this for my own use but thought I would share it. This is the second scenery creation of my British Columbia series.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
