Douglas A-3 Skywarrior Update. This is an update for FSX Acceleration of the Alphasim A-3B Skywarrior. The author has redone the flight dynamics, added the fourth wheel, instead of having it a scrape point. Also adds a nav/GPS switch to the panel, made the autopilot a bit bigger, changed the GPS, and made minor changes to the background picture. There is a virtual cockpit but none of the gauges are clickable. This is the whole aircraft. By Bob Chicilo.

Unzip to a folder of your choice. Copy the aircraft folder to the FSX airplanes folder.

If you have not already done so, copy the .cab files from the default aircraft panel folders that have them, to the main FS gauges folder. For some the .cab files will be .zip files as .cab files are a type of .zip file.

See [reference speeds] section of the aircraft.cfg file for operating speeds.

This aircraft takes a bit of time to reach cruise speed at 37,000 ft if you set the speed on the ground and then use the autopilot to climb to 37,000 ft. rather than climb at full throttle.

Anyone: You have my permission to use any of my updates with the following conditions: One, you don't try to make money with them. Two, you don't try to hurt, or take something from anyone by using them.

Wow! This is really a very nice airplane. Easy transition from the Lear 45 which I have flown a lot.

This bird is what we had during Vietnam although the ship I was on, CVA 42 FDR, did not have it in 1969.

I built the Revell model A3D and have it sitting on my TV. Transitioning from plastic to simming the real deal, I love it!.

Excellent job Bob.
