FSX American Airlines Lockheed L-188 Electra

New HD repaint for the Lockheed L-188 Electra II American Airlines. You need to download this aircraft from "Team FS KBT". Texture in DXT5 and HD resolution. Might slowdown fps. Read carefully the instructions to know how to activate the 4096 textures in fsx config. By Fabio Cabral.

INSTALLATION:

Just put the folder "texture.AMERICAN" into your ELEC_PASS folder. Copy this line into your "aircraft.cfg" respecting the order numbers on that, don't forget to change "x" to the next number:

INSTALLATION of HD into FSX:

Make sure that you have your texture max load set to 4096 in your FSX .cfg file. They will not display in high quality otherwise.

Navigate to your FSX.cfg file and open it with notepad, or wordpad. Scroll down to the [ GRAPHICS ] Section. Locate where it says "TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=XXXX* and make sure/change it to "TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=4096"

Save the config. Fly. Bear in mind that every time you change display settings inside FSX this value is restored to 1024. You will have to change it back again every time or grab a free program that keeps it at 4096.
