Bambui (BCP) is an exciting dirt strip in Papua New Guinea that is perched right on top of a mountain ridge. This scenery brings this strip to your copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator and makes for some exciting and challenging departures and approaches.
The default offering in the MSFS install is sorely lacking (or not even present) so this scenery pack aims to bring Bambui Airstrip up to what it would look and feel like in the real world.
The developer has used external sources such as Google Earth and contour maps to make it as accurate as possible but as this airport is so obscure, it was hard to find extensive data.
Custom models have been included which are located in and around the airfield.
Developer's Description
Bambui airstrip (BCP) is perched on a mountain ridge in Papua New Guinea at an elevation of 6850' and the dirt strip is 1250' long with an upslope when approached from the west.
It is located in Papua New Guinea approximately 3Nm SE of Nankina.
Custom models and terraforming have been used to try to replicate the real-life location but I haven't found any real information on the strip other than the google earth and contour map details.
Installation
Once the archive has been extracted, simply copy the pbk-bambui-bc
