FSX Erie International Airport Scenery

Erie International Airport / Tom Ridge Field (KERI) scenery refreshes the Pennsylvania airfield in FSX with accurate hangar coverage, a rebuilt terminal, and three moving jetways tuned for smooth AI operations. Updated airport boundaries, nearby roads, and terrain cleanup sharpen the layout for more believable taxiing, parking, and approaches.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Erie International Airport / Tom Ridge Field (KERI), Pennsylvania (PA). Adds all the hangars, replaces the default terminal with new buildings, adds moving jetways, replaces default boundary and roads. By Bill Good.

This is an improvement of what came with the default scenery in FSX for KERI. I have added all the hangars including the new one on the east end of the airport. Replaced the default terminal with new buildings and added the three moving jetways that work well with AI traffic. Replaced the default boundary and roads in the area surrounding the airport.

The hangars and terminal buildings were created using Gmax. Airport was improved using FSXPlaner. Scenery object placement was done using Whisplacer. Terrain and road improvement were done using SbuilderX.

Thanks to the freeware authors for providing tools to allow me make these improvements.

How to Install:

1. Unzip the files to a Temporary folder

2. Copy KERI folder to the FSX Addon Scenery folder

3. Start FSX and then "GO TO" the Scenery Library in the settings menu

4. Select "add area" and choose the KERI folder in the Addon Scenery folder

5. Close FSX and restart

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
