EDTL - Lahr. The scenery is completely from the imagination world of "Peter der Ostfriese" (who has already become known in the same manner for other airports) developed in collaboration with "Juergen Seidel". The project has been published as Open Source in March, 2010 (at that time also for the FS2004) and with it updates will be published for the rented parking places (latest update for FSX in February, 2011) over and over again. By Joachim Santjago.
Welcome to the home base of Pilots-Pup-Phoenix in Lahr (EDTL)!
I created this scenery as our home base for the flight community "Pilots-Pub Phoenix".
The scenery is complete from the imagination world of „Peter der Ostfriese“ developed in collaboration with „Jürgen Seidel“. In order to find everything, absolutely check the documentation.
First unzip the downloaded file. Start the containing setup.exe as usual. Now start the FSX. At the end of the installation the new scenery "PPP_EDTL_02_2011" must be registered in the scenery library. That's it.
The Compatibility with "VFR Germany" (extra download on our site) has been tested and worked out fine for us.
The location airport Lahr is located in the heart of Europe and centrally in one of the most important economic regions of Germany. Baden-Württemberg is the centre of the German car industry, as well as the main exporter in mechanical engineering. As a result more and more highly specialized logistics companies settle down there. The connection to the motorway A5, short distances to harbours and rail terminal, the short distance to France and Switzerland are more qualified advantages. The airport in Germany is considered as a countries-triangle: Strasbourg - 30 km, Basel - 100 km, Frankfurt - 200 km, located directly near the motorway A5 (Karlsruhe/Basel).

Update PHOENIX_EDTL_1. 2
After we found out that while taxiing with large planes it came to collisions with the scenery here now following changes.
1. Lights to the entrance taxiway "J" were further set back
2. A glider in the area between taxiway "D" and "F" was moved further away.
3. The wooden hats at taxiway "P" have been moved.
4. The taxiway signs 'G' from the ramp to the runway where completed
5. The hut at the taxiway "B" was moved.
Update PHOENIX_EDTL_2. 1:
It’s finished now. Today, we release this new version. On our building site close to the hotel we open a sample hanger for 2 medium-sized aircrafts up to 22m span. These hangers have the parking positions 100 and 101. Thus, we give you a glimpse on further building that is planed. We added names to the rented parking spaces in the Central Rendell. In addition, we equipped the info place Winzeln Schramberg (EDTW) with some buildings and accessories. Because we work exclusively with accessories within FSX possibilities, in many cases we had to deviate from reality and let our imagination run. But as always in life, imagination enlivened the action. In addition we created a small accommodation village not far from Winzeln Schramberg, in a southwesterly direction.
-Updated name plates before the rented hanger
-Hanger moved down 20cm
