Packaged as a complete aircraft with panel and gauges for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it includes a detailed virtual cockpit.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

A repaint of Roger Dial's North American P51 Mustang D modified For Flight Simulator X and entitled "The Flying Undertaker". This is a historicaly accurate repaint of the famous P-51 "The Flying Undertaker," Race 66, which was campaigned in 1976 by George Roberts, and later by John Muzala. The Flying Undertaker was seriously damaged in a 1981 accident, The aircraft was rebuilt and was sold to Major General Charles "Chuck" Yeager and became Glamourous Glen III". While en route to a 357th FG Reunion the aircraft was destroyed in the crash and post-impact fire. This is a complete aircraft, modified by Mark Rooks.

To install this aircraft:

As always back up any original files.

1.Unzip downloaded folders to your desktop or temporary directory of your choice.

2.Copy the "The Flying Undertaker " folder and paste it in the main aircraft folder.

3.Unzip and install the guages and panel.

By default the main aircraft folder is located at:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FSX\SIM Objects /Aircraft.

Textures and Air and CFG files created by Mark "Fire Ball" Rooks.

Enjoy your new repaint and air file.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
