Remote FMS for FSX released

Posted on

Remote FMS is a Windows software running simultaneously on a desktop computer and a mobile device. It communicates with Microsoft Flight Simulator X and allows you to control flight parameters via mobile device with touch screen.

The communication is based on an active network connection. It means you have to place desktop computer and mobile device in the same network via either ad-hoc or router based LAN. You need to have network adapter in your mobile device and be able to assign IP address to it so the desktop computer can see (ping) it. You are in best situation when you have WIFI embedded in your mobile device so you are cord free but any TCP conncection will suffice (ethernet, LAN over USB).

Remote FMS consists of two applications:

Remote FMS Desktop - application running on the desktop PC, laptop, tablet

Remote FMS Mobile - application running on the mobile device (PocketPC, SmartPhone)
