FSX Boeing 737-800 Cockpit Textures Upgrade

Boeing 737-800 cockpit textures sharpen the default flight deck with full-resolution panels, richer color, and added detail for a more convincing virtual cockpit. Designed for the stock aircraft in FSX, the repaint also integrates smoothly with common 737-800 virtual cockpit upgrades while keeping the original layout and readability intact.

First, please make a "back up" of the original B737-800 texture folder, if you have to restore the default texture. (The default B737-800 textures are in the default texture.zip).

Copy these textures to your FSX 737-800 directory, and place them in the "texture" folder. DO NOT PLACE IN ANY OTHER FOLDER, OR THIS WILL NOT WORK.

Note: This upgrade cockpit also works in the 737-800 upgraded Virtual Cockpit by Alejandro Rojas Lucena.

After that, open up your FS, and enjoy the upgrade!

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D panel / gauge
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place panel files

Panel files go inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{aircraft}\panel\. Back up the existing panel folder first.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

My basic 737-800 has the following folders:

    • Texture (44.4 MB)
    • Texture 1
    • Texture 2
    • Texture 3
    • Texture 4
    • Texture 5
    • Texture 6

    Your file has folder "Textures": B737-800 1_C / 2_C / ------- 5_C.

Which folders do I change—my Texture and your Textures?
