FS2004 Gulf Air Airbus A340-312

The Project Open Sky Airbus A340-312 in Gulf Air's 50th Anniversary colors (registration A4O-LD). This aircraft contains several features, such as full animated control surfaces, independent suspension, thrust reversers, drooping ailerons and elevators when the engine is shut off, an FDE tested by real A340 pilots and a lot of .xml eye candy. This file contains textures only, requires any POSKY A340-300 model. See readme.txt for further information and installation instructions. Repaint by Nicholas Wilkinson.

The Airbus A340 is considered a long-range wide-body commercial passenger airliner. This aircraft features four high-bypass turbofan jet engines. Seating up to 375 passengers, the model has a range of 6,700 to 9,000 nautical miles. Overall height measurements range from 16.7 meters to 17.3 meters. Wingspans range from 60.3 meters to 63.45 meters. There are four main fuselage lengths and variants of the A340, with the first being introduced in 1987. All four variants are available with a corporate or "Executive" package. This aircraft has never been part of a fatal incident. Similar designs include the A330. The aircraft is designed and manufactured by the Airbus company, which is fully owned by EADS.
