Editorial

This fine little texture set was well worth picking up if you spend much time in the Boeing 747-400. It adds a cool and detailed Lufthansa texture set to the outside livery for the aircraft. I’m a big fan of having as many liveries as I can for roleplaying perspectives, so I grabbed this for any time I wish to take over at Lufthansa.

The textures are, like all Lufthansa designs, nice and simple. It’s not got too much going on but the developers have done a good job of making sure that the text is nice and crisp. Nothing feels flat or fake and it makes the rest of the aircraft model look better. It’s a nice touch and one that can make a big difference to the way that you feel when flying.

Whether it’s just a basic role-playing service or you want to have more liveries for added creativity, this is worth having. I can’t profess that it reinvents the wheel or does anything I never expected, but it does what it says on the tin. Simple, stylish and effective; it’s the best way to make an aircraft we all regularly use look a little more hospitable than it might do at the moment.
