Elevate your Microsoft Flight Simulator X experience with a refined yellow and white paint scheme for the Carenado Cessna 152. Developed by Carenado and repainted by Tom Tiedman, this package offers a vibrant interpretation of the classic two-seat trainer introduced in the late 1970s. The files provided here are textures only and require the Carenado payware C152 model to function properly. Follow the concise guidelines below to integrate this fresh look into your simulator and choose between the wheel pants and non-wheel pants versions.
Bright Livery Snapshot
Take in the vivid yellow and white contrast on this nimble trainer.
Key Steps for Texture Setup
- Duplicate any existing Carenado C152 texture folder and place the copy into a temporary folder.
- Transfer the five provided repaint textures plus both thumbnail files into the duplicated texture folder. Respond affirmatively to overwrite prompts.
- Rename the duplicated folder to texture.Yellow N61932.
- Move the renamed folder back into your Carenado C152 aircraft directory within FSX.
- Return to the temporary folder and change the copy’s folder name to texture.Yellow N61932sc (indicating the version without wheel pants) and move it into the same aircraft directory.
You will then possess two distinct paint schemes: one featuring wheel fairings and another variant omitting them.
Editing Aircraft Configuration Entries
Within your Carenado C152’s aircraft.cfg
file, place the following pairs of entries. Ensure each [fltsim.X] uses the next sequential integer. After insertion, save the configuration file. To manage the separate thumbnails, navigate to the sc texture folder, delete the original thumbnail file, and rename thumbnailWITHOUTWHEELPANTS to thumbnail.
